Hello, my name is Zackery B. I received a package from you. I am writing to say thank you. We travel a lot so jerky is something we live on. It is hard to get over here. Especially good jerky. I personally like the hot, but the rest of the guys are soft and like the original and teriyaki. It is a tradition that the gunners each get a bag of jerky before we roll out of the gate. I can't thank you enough. I am from Wyoming but my mother and grandmother live in Butler, PA. I have been to York before. I told here about Big Johns Jerky. She told me she would look for it next time she sends me jerky. I will send a picture of myself and the guys with a bag soon. Thank you very much again.

Thank you as always for your personal attention. These young men are front line infantry. At risk for some times two weeks at a time. They actually carry Big John's with them and use it as a food source. That is how important you are to these men.

I would first like to say that you all make the best beef jerky I have ever tasted. My name is SGT David W currently serving in the Army, in Afghanistan. I have been here for 6 months now, and have about 6 more to go. I am from Oklahoma, but stationed at Schofield Barracks, HI. I am married to Jennifer, we have a son (7) William, and a daughter (4) Madison. I have been in the Army for nine years now, and plan on getting out here in 10 months. I want to join the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

I signed up for this thing online called Any Soldier. I put my name on a list, which people back in the states see, and send packages to the different soldiers. I just received a package from some people in Pennsylvania, who sent a box full of your beef jerky. I have passed some of it out, and everyone here agrees that it is great jerky. I would like to thank you for that. I have to say that the original is probably the best but also do like the teriyaki. I am curious on how we might be able to get some more of your beef jerky. I have several friends here who would love to get some.

If there is anyway you could let me know what I can do to get some more that would be greatly appreciated. It went so quick that some people didn't get any. Well, once again thank you and God Bless.

Bill,
I received your care package in the mail. I have passed the contents out to a few guys in the next shop over. Thank you for the beef jerky. When I passed it out the guys were looking at the package and said we already have alot of jerky, until they tasted it. Bill, this is the best jerky that we have had. We get beef jerky from mainly from companies like Lowry's, Jack Links, or Pemmican. Your beef jerky is almost gone and I received it yesterday. 11 bags almost gone. The others are still on the box we have out in the open. Thank You for sending us this sampler.

We don't have much to do on our off time so we sit down and watch movies and play playstation2 all night. I appreciate your support for us and what we are doing here in Iraq. We have been here since August of this year and we are due to go back to the states about March-April time frame. We were protecting the guys on the ground. We were also flying escort missions for the MEDEVAC flights to and from Fallujah. The flights were constant and 24hrs a day. It was pretty busy around here for a while. It is starting to settle down now and the weather is getting cold. In August it was about 115 degrees and now during the day it is about 65 degrees and it gets down to 30-40 degrees at night. We live in tents and have power and a refrigerator. We have access to a microwave and most of us have either a DVD player or access to one. I have received an enormous amount to mail due to the any soldier website. So I am sorry this is not hand written, but I am trying to write everyone back some kind of thank you for all of your support for us. Keep us in mind during the holidays.

Just thought I'd let you know. We are getting together and sending packages to our guys and gals in Iraq. Most of the folks in the TV station that I work are contributing a lot of dry good and candy.

I chose to give a hickory smoked and a fiery hot to take care of them. Beef Jerky is a favorite and sending them the best will certainly make a miserable holiday season a little easier to take.

I am so glad I forged this tie with you and with them.
